Gwen Scott lives in Melbourne, Australia and works from her home studio producing original colour and black & white limited edition prints. Gwen works full-time as a printmaker and specialises in the reduction technique to produce her colourful prints. All her prints are hand cut and hand pulled by her and the finest 100% cotton rag paper, oil-based inks and Silk Cut linoleum are used.
Gwen's iconography stems from her interests in classical mythology, the human form, animals, human lifecycle, surrealism, gardens & landscapes and the every-day.
Gwen has held numerous solo exhibitions and regularly participates in group shows, print exchanges and competitions and has won awards for her reduction linocut prints. Her work is held in many public and private collections around Australia.
