whimsical by nature...
Sometimes if you hold your breath and shut your eyes, you can truly hear the world.
Cocooned by the gentle embrace of the air around you, the soft touch of the sun and the gentle hum of humanity, here life flows so effortlessly,
often so quietly you suddenly realise
something beautiful has happened.
You have not changed, you still feel young,
inspired and free, even better when you put your
fingers in your ears and you don’t hear the responsibilities knocking at the door.
You find yourself in a place of magic and potentiality and you can slip into the joyous encounters of
love and friendship.
In these latest works I have given gratitude to the times when a swing gave you wings, the trees were our castles and flowers were our treasure, the whimsical times, when time was only a place to visit. - Janine Daddo, 2014.
